An interactive resource that promotes healthy eating whilst encouraging pupils to consider where the food comes from and its effect on communities and the planet. Pupils use a simple database to compare and select fruits for their fruit salad before finding out how much of a carbon impact their salad has on the planet. Pupils are also given the opportunity to debate the positive and negative impacts of a global market and look at case studies of farmers around the World. This resource includes the ESDGC themes of Health, Choices and Decisions and Wealth and Poverty.

This unit invites learners to consider their understanding of the human body. Using their own experiences and information provided for them it provides opportunity to think about, draw, write and discuss the position and size of some of the organs in the human body. Learners are encouraged to investigate systematically the effects of exercise on heart beat rate and to represent their results in variety of ways.

The subjects covered in these interactive resources are: over the counter and prescribed medicines, the contents of cigarettes, the effects of smoking on the body, the effects of alcohol on the body and the risks of drinking alcohol. This series of lessons is supported by detailed lesson plans and a wide variety of additional interactive teaching materials.
